Application Process
Stage 1: Endorsement by Tech Nation
In this stage, we apply to Tech Nation, the official endorsing body for the Digital Technology Global Talent Visa. They assess your skills, achievements, and contributions to the tech sector and advise the Home Office on whether to grant an endorsement. This process usually takes up to 8 weeks.
If your application is successful, the Home Office will inform us, and you can move on to Stage 2 to apply for the visa. If not, we can help you request a review or appeal the decision—many applicants receive an endorsement at this stage. If needed, we’ll also support you with a reapplication. You can reapply as many times as needed; there are no limits.
Stage 2: Visa Application to the Home Office
Once endorsed, you submit your visa application through the official UK Home Office Global Talent portal—this must be done within 3 months of receiving your endorsement.
Tech Nation does not take part in this stage. The Home Office will assess your immigration status, any potential grounds for refusal, and whether you’re eligible to switch to the Global Talent visa if you’re already in the UK.
Processing typically takes up to 3 weeks if you're applying from outside the UK, and up to 8 weeks if you're applying from within.
